Course Outline: Presentations - Signposting Language

Course content: Signposting or signaling is the technique of telling the audience the structure of the presentation, where they are and where they are going. In this module we will introduce these words and discuss their use in each macro area of a presentation.

Signposting words are not difficult to learn, but it is absolutely important to know them and be able to use them when, under pressure, giving a presentation.

Additionally, this module offers a series of listening, speaking, and reading activities, all related to preparing and giving a presentation. It will help you improve your speech and oral fluency while you learn general business vocabulary and expressions.

Note, this module may be used to present and edit your presentation to/with the trainer.
